DISCUSSION: The Politics of Belonging: A Social Science/Artistic Project in Viennese Social Housing

This article presents the research project Living Rooms: The Art of Mobilizing Belonging(s), which analyzed the political mobilization of belonging in Viennese social housing complexes from an interdisciplinary perspective combining artistic and social sciences methods and approaches. In doing so, we address substantive issues on the politics of belonging and discuss the challenges and opportunities posed by adopting a transdisciplinary approach at the interface between arts and sciences.
